Taylor Sheridan's Landman picks up right where the first left off: mediocre writing, borrowing liberally from the tone of Friday Night Lights, featuring performances that are better than the show deserves, and somehow remaining wildly entertaining.

Taylor Sherridan keeps getting better as writer, director, producer and creator. It's no wonder Patamount is making everything he wants. This show despite small flaws has great writing and acting. It doesnt need to always raise the stakes that shows suffer from including Yellowstone. Just tell a good story. BTW I'd bet my left nut this season was just review bombed by the virtue signalers. Even though this shows controversy was about finding common ground and humanizing eachother. I bet they didn't watch the following episodes after the initial trans one. They missed out.

We really enjoyed this series and eagerly await series 3. It opens a lid on a whole world (Texas oil) that we were very ignorant of and it's nice to be taken somewhere new sometimes. The main characters are great and really carry the show along brilliantly. It mixes action, industrial drama, commerce, unusual family dynamics, crime and great humour at times.

Outstanding! A lifelong DFW resident, it was amusing to see well known locations. As usual, Billy Bob Thornton is masterful as Tommy, and the writing more than once had me choking on my laughter. Absolutely outstanding.

Not as good as season 1 but still very watchable. Some episodes were a little too sidetracked from the storyline.
