Previous John Voorhees Seattle Times TV will miss the charming and civilizing presence of Lansbury, even though many of the episodes in recent years have been little more than familiar exercises to give a host of guest stars employment. Aug 3, 2021 Full Review Steve Johnson Chicago Tribune The show's gentility and adherence to formula wasn't exactly my cup of tea. I never tuned in an episode for pleasure (though when I did so for work, I appreciated the program's craft and confidence). I will miss Murder, She Wrote, nonetheless. Apr 21, 2020 Full Review John Carman San Francisco Chronicle It's painful to have seen Sunday's concluding episode and realize how far "MSW" has slipped from the days when Richard Levinson and William Link oversaw the scripts and production. Apr 21, 2020 Full Review Mack Rawden CinemaBlend It's not young. It's not sexy. It's not glamorous or fast-paced or any of the adjectives executives look for, but in a funny way, that's actually what makes the reruns such a joy to watch. Aug 3, 2021 Full Review Chris Kaltenbach Baltimore Sun Fans of MSW should get a kick out of this good-natured (I think) ribbing of the enemy. Non-fans (of which I am admittedly one) will be too busy watching Friends. Apr 21, 2020 Full Review Scott D. Pierce Deseret News (Salt Lake City) It's the same sort of story that Murder, She Wrote has been doing for 11 years now. And, all sentimentality aside, that's part of the problem with the show. It's been doing pretty much exactly the same thing for 11 years now. Apr 21, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews Next
