Margaret Lyons New York Times It is Tudor palace intrigue with shape-shifting, a joyful and breathless more-more-more. A lot of “Jane” adheres, happily, to genre conventions, but it is done with a well-pitched playfulness. Jul 18, 2024 Full Review Camilla Long Times (UK) ... An enjoyable bit of counterfactual Tudor rumpy entitled My Lady Jane. Jul 3, 2024 Full Review Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) It’s girl power with an “up yours” exuberance. The narrative blithely moves from one scrape to the next, with a backbone of veteran British actors in the supporting ranks. Rated: 3/5 Jun 28, 2024 Full Review María Juesas Fotogramas With only 8 episodes, the story unfolds touching almost all genres. Of course, with a skillful and constant sense of humor, which makes 'My Lady Jane' an outstanding series... There is no basis in reality, but it’s a fun ride into period costuming and vamping actors. Aug 13, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Sherrill D A fun, romp through a fantasy of what if history could be changed for Lady Jane Grey. A willful, independent woman who had been named Queen. Throw in good vs. evil (really evil), a cast of varied characters who deal with lots of turmoil. Oh, and a mystical twist where some people can turn into animals, and then back to humans at will. (Mysticism and folklore, how fun!). Now there is one small hitch. One animal can’t change at will. Well, that is a bit of a problem. good/evil/fantasy/mysticism/folklore/love and oh so much more in one story. Hang on to your hat, sit back, and just enjoy the sometimes a bit raunchy romp infused with a great musical background. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/16/24 Full Review Calvin O This was one of the best series watched, I really loved the act, waiting for season 2🤘 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/15/24 Full Review Victoria B This show is intelligent and witty! You quickly fall in love with the characters and love to hate the villains. An absolute binge-worthy show! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/14/24 Full Review Sophia's V This show was sooooo exciting to watch and it was just the type of show I was looking for since I absolutely love time period romance shows and with the added adventure of the magic and how it was based on real people is pretty cool and it just shows that anything can happen when you take control over your life and that everything that people do affects the future. I really hope that they bring the show back for a season 2 because it was such a great show and I absolutely loved it and it was really sad to see it get canceled not even after 2 months Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/09/24 Full Review Anieke S Phenomenal show. Please don't cancel it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/09/24 Full Review Brittany D This show is an absolute must-see! It masterfully combines the enchanting qualities of "The Princess Bride" and "Ella Enchanted" with the vibrant, energetic soundtrack reminiscent of "A Knight's Tale." It's easily one of the best new series I've encountered in a long time, delivering top-notch entertainment. If you haven't tuned in yet, you're truly missing out. The plot is riveting and keeps you hooked from start to finish, with the narrator's commentary adding a perfect mix of suspense and humor. The modern songs, all performed by female artists, infuse this historical tale from 1553 with a fresh and empowering twist. The show also boasts a strong female lead who navigates the story with both strength and nuance. The chemistry between Emily Bader and Edward Bluemel is undeniable, bringing even more depth to an already captivating narrative. This series not only honors the original book but also leaves you eagerly anticipating what's to come. It's a phenomenal production, and I can't recommend it enough! Here's hoping for a season two!
