A mystery-of-the-week series following Charlie Cale, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road in her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can't help but solve. Guest stars are plentiful throughout, from Ellen Barkin and Adrien Brody to Luis Guzmán and Chloë Sevigny. An inverted detective series, also known as a "howcatchem" and popularized by "Columbo," the crime and perpetrator are shown at the beginning of each episode, and follows Charlie as she tries to solve the mystery.

Natasha Lyonne is outstanding and the mysteries, with a couple of exceptions, are very good. The guest stars, especially Chloe Sevigny and Judith Light, are generally excellent. The main problem I have with this show is the egregious level of profanity. It's almost as if they're trying to win a contest. Most of it comes from Lyonne herself, and it detracts quite a bit from her otherwise inspired performances. I know they're just trying to get your attention but at some point you would think they'd have enough confidence in the writing and the performances that they could drop this sort of high-school obsession with the F word.

Great new take on the murder mystery type of show with an original primary character. The acting from the guest actors is phenomenal which makes it a unique tv show who can rely on different secondary characters each episode without it being messy.

This series is so good. Natasha Lyonne is fantastic in this series and is able to adapt to so many different situations and new episode characters. Each episode is a unique and compelling whodunnit situation with amazing guest actors. Such a good watch!

i love Natasha. It is safe to say that she is one of the most extraordinary actresses, given her remarkable abilities and talents. The way she skillfully plays the role is so compelling that it draws the viewers in, resulting in them becoming completely absorbed in the show. I was completely hooked on this show, as it captivated me from start to finish, and the experience left me yearning for more episodes. I eagerly anticipate the release of season two of Poker Face and diligently check every day in hopes of finding new episodes available for viewing. If you're in the mood for a TV show that will transport you to another world, my sincere recommendation is Poker Face. I have no doubt that you will find it highly entertaining. I took advantage of every opportunity I had to watch an episode. Like a mesmerizing addiction, the plot of this story will keep you hooked and unable to put it down.
