Wealth, beauty and status define the people who live in the Hamptons. But one woman seeking revenge could destroy it all. Emily Thorne lived in the Hamptons until an incident ruined her family and their reputation, forcing them out of town. Years later, she has returned to her old neighborhood, blending in with the citizens and making friends, not letting on that she has lived there before. In an effort to right some of the past wrongs, she plans vengeance on those who wronged her and her family -- and she doesn't care at what cost.

Brian Lowry Variety A series finale that, not unexpectedly, overheated a dish best served cold. Feb 13, 2019 Full Review Carrie Raisler AV Club Whether or not Victoria's promise of revenge comes to pass, it's certainly a fun, soapy idea to have Emily and Victoria switch places completely in the narrative, with a lot of rich story possibilities. Rated: B- Sep 29, 2014 Full Review Natalia Marcos El Pais (Spain) Revenge has managed to brighten the concept of soap opera and takes it to the extreme with pride. [Full Review in Spanish] Feb 13, 2019 Full Review Ashley Bissette Sumerel Tell-Tale TV The driving force of the show has never really been about Emily and Jack -- instead, it's been about Emily and her father. Rated: 4/5 Jun 21, 2018 Full Review Kaitlin Thomas TV.com Overall, I think I enjoyed this fresh new start to Season 4, and I think it's for one reason and one reason only: Emily wasn't scheming to destroy the Graysons. Sep 29, 2014 Full Review Andy Swift TV Line If you'd never seen Revenge before, Sunday's season premiere was a pretty good time to join the party - and not just because every character literally recapped (out loud) what they've been up to for the past three years. Tero H Great final season to my all time favorite tv-series. And all the seasons gets 4.5 stars. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/11/25 Full Review Jennifer M Even though Seson 4 was the last and final season it was my favorite, how the truth came out and how everything was wraped up. Emily aka Amanda and Jack had there happy ending. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/25/25 Full Review Emily B What a phenomenal ending!! Fantastic final season. It's sad that Nolan isn't getting his spin-off show anymore. Netflix should really pick it up. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/13/21 Full Review Audience Member Why? Why? Why? Having Victoria committed to a loony bin was already so fitting and good enough! Why drag it?! The David resurfaces, so ALL was for nothing, basically. Not to mention that the actor really doesn't "deliver". He's so flat and one dimensional. Booooooring. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member One definitely has to suspend reality to get into this. That said, all seasons were riveting for me as evidenced by not being able to go to sleep at night as I power watched. I'd have done a few things differently: (1) Less eye makeup on Gail O'Grady (not sure which season she comes in). She looked lie she had two black eyes and it was distracting. (2) Some other female clothes besides constant skin tight sheaths (even the rich often wear clothes besides tight sheaths and don't always dress up) (3) Cast someone else for Jack. I just didn't feel a chemistry between Jack and the real Amanda either emotionally or physically. However, Aidan worked for me. Besides the real Amanda, one of my favorite characters was Nolan and his regular clever remarks. The father character felt weak. Love Madeleine Stowe always! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member So the main story line of the show was of her wanting revenge for her fathers death so that we may know at the end that he is not actually dead , so what was the point of everything ? i blame it on the writers since season 2.
