Previous Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald Whether the personae are from Essex, Liverpool or "Tuckingham Palace", it's all very different. Baga Chipz shapes as an early fan favourite, RuPaul keeps things mad. Oct 17, 2019 Full Review Louis Staples Independent (UK) What makes the Drag Race UK's first episode so promising is that it completely nails the brief of a UK rebrand: to blend a successful US format with British cultural references. 5/5 Oct 9, 2019 Full Review Brett White Decider RuPaul's Drag Race UK has the potential to take home the crown for Best First Season in the franchise's herstory. Oct 18, 2019 Full Review Tom Fitzgerald and Lorenzo Marquez Tom & Lorenzo The queens are talented, hungry, and rough around the edges, and the judges are energized and excited to dive in. In fact, we haven't seen Ru or Michelle this energized and engaged in quite some time. Oct 15, 2019 Full Review Next

Previous Audience Member For the first few minutes of the first episode, it was definitely different. You have to realize that a whole new lingo and verbage is about to come out. Am I using that right, verbage? For example: I'm used to, "What's the tea?", "throwing shade", and "gagging" but you'll hear new hits like, "What's the crack?", "gobby", "minge", "on the piss", "vinegar strokes", and "slag". Once you get accustomed to the new drag slang (and subtitles help because some of these Queens have thick accents), then you're good to go. This is a very funny show! It's a great kick off to the UK RuPaul's Drag Race. At first you wonder if these Queens are going to be in a love fest because they are so sweet and nice when they first meet — they're so cordial and proper — but then it comes: the shade. The laughs, the tearjerking moments, and all the fun you get from all Ru's Drag Races are there. I highly recommend this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I enjoyed all of the show but was disappointed Baga Chipz didn't win. However I'm glad The Vivienne beat Divina Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Next Post a review
