But it just seems tired.. it seems like they just no longer care about making something compelling. The formula is strict, and exceedingly predictable.. the editing is so blatant in broad attempts to create drama, and it just falls flat and hard. The attempts by both production and editing to tweak how things play out are just so noticeable that it ruins any potential anticipation or excitement. The show honestly feels like a response to asking AI a request - please describe a travel show that has manufactured drama because we reset where teams stand on each leg anyways, and also make sure there are mechanisms in place that have absolutely no intent or rationale.
