See more Jen N @Flygirl2992 Feb 20 When all of the action to get two characters back together happens on another show, it's a good look that the following season will be a lot of hot garbage. It's hard to do, but this show made me care less and less about Mandalorian politics. Storyline with the sword and Bo-Katan could have been awesome, with the Mando continuing much of his solo antics after handing off the sword to her to unite her people, but instead we just got non-sense where the title character isn't even the star of his own show, but is just there. Much like the phoned-in performance by the lead actor. He's obviously put on some weight as well, so disconnect between when it's him and the stunt performer is huge. Overall feels more like a Disney merch grab instead of actual good character-driven storytelling. See more Barsnobs @Barsnobs Feb 1 A very rushed season, it feels. The effects were good but could have been better and the writing was much clunkier than the first two seasons. I don't love where it ended or how. It seems to be building to a larger narrative with other shows and films, which is exciting and necessary. Baby Yoda was supposed to go off with Luke but returns with no explanation the next season. ???? Come on, what a lack luster way to screw up the show. Now it is gone for good.... Best project we got since the old movies like revenge of the sith and empire strikes back See more Eddie S Jan 3 This season is a great adventure with lots of action and heart in a galaxy far, far away. Though the Jack Black and Lizzo episode is a bit out of place, that episode still serves the story and is a fun time! The finale is an exciting conclusion and is a dramatic battle as the Mandalorians fight to reclaim their world from the evil Galactic Empire. Paves the way for more exciting stories to come, especially The Mandalorian and Grogu movie coming out this Memorial Day. See more Read all reviews
