Bingeable as a beach read and just as forgettable, The Night Agent is a routine spy thriller told with commendable bravado.

Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) The Shield creator, Shawn Ryan, does his best to put some texture and moral tension in this fast-paced series, but at best this a solid, unspectacular run-and-gun narrative that at least has a zesty female counterpart. Apr 13, 2023 Full Review Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News A solid conspiracy movie/series throwback involving two lethal killers, a bombing in a subway, a mole within the White House and a newbie FBI agent who’s in over his head. Rated: 2.5/4 Mar 29, 2023 Full Review Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times In the second half of the series, the action is ramped up and the plot twists bend credulity close to the breaking point — but we stick with it, and we’re rewarded with some payoffs. Rated: 3/4 Mar 25, 2023 Full Review Nuha Hassan Nuha Hassan There’s no denying that The Night Agent, while with its many flaws, is a lot more enjoyable and balances the many subplots without making them too complicated. Sep 8, 2023 Full Review Mini Anthikad-Chhibber The Hindu While there are pacing issues and it takes some time for the show to hit its stride, ‘The Night Agent’ ticks along busily enough to ensure you do not ask too many questions Aug 27, 2023 Full Review Alison de Souza The Straits Times (Singapore) Basso’s Sutherland is a pretty straightforward nice guy. Still, it is easy to cheer for him and his budding romance with Rose. If you are in the market for a popcorn political thriller, this is it. Rated: 3/5 Aug 15, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Nate K Nothing new to the genre but it's a okay show to watch and turn your brain off. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/12/24 Full Review v k Watched the 1st episode and could barely finish it. Poorly written dialogue, so many plot holes its a plot sieve, generic trope galore. Can't believe this has such positive reviews. It's like an action spy show if it was written by teenagers with no concept of what's realistic, what makes sense, etc. Just corny and/or irrational scenes and dialogue with lots of recycled lines and concepts poorly executed. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/24 Full Review Anthony D The Night Agent is one of the best TV shows I have watched in a long time. Full of action and drama that provides twists and turns, it will keep you hooked and excited at every moment of the show. It Jack Bauer meets Jason Bourne. I am huge 24 fan, so hear me when I say The Night Agent, after just one season, might become my new favorite. Can’t wait for season 2! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/24 Full Review Luis G Buena combinación de acción tipo Jason Bourne y un trama que tiene muchos "twist" en la historia. Ampliamente recomendada. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/24 Full Review Some Guy F Some shows are just really clearly designed for stupid people. This is one of them. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/24 Full Review Shaun C The acting is just not good. 3 of the main characters are stiff and not believable.
