As time-killing hokum, The Recruit hits the target like 007 taking aim down a pre-credits gun barrel. Go to Full Review

Not so much of a rookie lawyer anymore, Noah Centineo’s Owen Hendricks escapes being rubber roomed on the tails of yet another graymailer, which takes him from Seoul to Vladivostok in the company of old and new frenemies Go to Full Review

The acting is good but Centineo has gotten older and has lost that fresh-faced appeal. Go to Full Review

Season two is efficient even if it lacks the group ensemble mentality that season one provided by allowing all the main characters to be in constant interaction. Go to Full Review

The Recruit wisely retains its fast-paced storytelling, never getting bogged down despite Owen’s increasingly complex personal struggles. Go to Full Review

Katheryne S @Kat1234 Dec 13 I loved The Recruit Season 1 because every spy was territorial and out for themselves. It was funny. Season 2 - not funny. Plus the Max and Owen dynamic was a lot of fun. So killing Max at the end of Season 1, was incredibly stupid. Replacing Max with her daughter - a boring stick puppet character - was even stupider. Long story short, the writers managed to suck the life out of this series in Season 2. Not even Noah Centino could save it. See more Milosz K @Milos464 Oct 31 Absolutely amazing , great acting, funny and engaging unlike the Night Agent 2nd series See more Emperor W Jun 19 It coulda been a 4 Star, but the VERY lame ending is a big disappointment. What about HER??!! Who got busted? Wait a minute! You're ending it THERE?! Up to that point, it was sort of OK for your Tough Girls - dumb guys kind of adventure. The continuity person must have taken a couple days off, and some character relationships must have been rewritten by different folks. Just don't expect it to make sense and you'll probably enjoy the show. See more Gary B May 16 Even though I enjoyed season 2, season 1 was much sharper. Season 2 suffered from too many "lucky" coincidences, and the interactions lacked an urgent sense of danger. If there's a season 3, I hope they tighten up the storyline. See more Roger G May 5 I think the other characters were carrying Owen in the first season. The loss of Max was too much. But I have tried to watch Season 2 3 times. I can't get past so much of reading subtitles. That really was a deal breaker for me. If it had been dubbed I would have watched to the end. See more Irsa K Apr 28 Very addictive to watch. Wish there’ll be a third season. See more Read all reviews
