Welcome back to Elmore, where the laws of reality are a joke, and family life is anything but ordinary. Whether he's battling an evil fast-food empire, facing off against a sentient AI in love with his mom, or trying to stop Banana Joe from wearing pants, Gumball Watterson drags his brother Darwin, sister Anais, and the rest of the town of Elmore along for the ride.

Like the best cartoons ostensibly made for kids, it doesn’t underestimate its audience, what it might understand or can handle. Go to Full Review

I’m happy to report that the new Gumball—whatever title you want to call it—is just as cheeky, clever, and fascinated with rear ends as it used to be. Go to Full Review

The gloriously anarchic Hulu series plunges its imaginatively motley crew of characters into often heightened situations that are dazzling in their freneticness. Go to Full Review

As funny and relevant as ever, this show should appeal to older audiences, especially those who grew up watching The Amazing World of Gumball. Go to Full Review

The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball is a faithful continuation that happily captures the fun and excitement of Cartoon Network’s original series while feeling more satirical. Go to Full Review

leslie D @LED816 5d The OG had a subtle gritty and darker humor aimed at adults and teens. That’s what made it so funny. This new show is just terrible. It feels like you’re watching a baby show. My oldest is 21 and my youngest is 9 so I have been watching this show for well over a decade side by side with my kids. I loved watching TAWOGB with them because I could laugh right along at some of the innuendos and commentary on adult life. I can’t stomach this new version. It’s like half the junk on Disney Jr. that is just mind numbingly repetitive (minus Bluey of course). But My 9 year old grew up watching the original gumball and he refuses to watch this load of garbage. We were both excited for a revival but a few episodes in and we turned it off. I’ve tried watching some episodes deeper in to the season and I give up. It’s flat, boring, zero humor, is unrelateable and anyone saying different is lying. Especially the "pro critics" but who listens to them anyway? Just skip this on rewatch the original. See more Cruz H @RT21758122 Mar 21 Honestly this is just overrated and disappointing coming from a fan of the original. The reboot just feels like social media cringe slop with the only good thing being the 2d animation. The voices just feel like annoying screaming and annoying super high pitch. It's cringe because they try to be cool with kids when in reality, they are just being well annoying. The original the references were much cleverer, and the voice acting was way better. They also just feel like you got no breathing room they just go from one thing to another with no breaks. In the original it was really weird, but it still slowed down a bit, and it felt like I have braincells when watching the original. The animation is the only good thing I like how the characters move, and they feel alive. However, though it feels less mixed media compared to the original though. Overall, it's an overrated piece of trash, that is just one big fat disappointment for us fans of the original. See more Michael B. @KVD1969 Dec 10 In a character-focused series, desperately trying to finally win the full affection of his shapeshifting girlfriend Penny, Gumball and his family contend with the pressures of growing up in a world where nothing makes sense, proving that no matter how strange Elmore gets, their capacity for mischief is still the biggest existential threat. See more Wally @Wally_Noodle Nov 12 Great season! Although I feel like some of the plots or jokes were repeated from older seasons, like Tobias’s party and Gumball’s head rolling on the ground in the Amadain episode. Not as good as the other seasons, but still good, the comedy is great! Oh, and the animation, THE ANIMATION— IT’S AMAZING!!! Can’t wait to see more of this series! See more Marvine M @RT47534984 Sep 3 Wow wow wow. I love the new season so much. It's literally my first time seeing that a new season was released today, and I couldn't stop binge watching each episode. The new season is highly addictive and has a high reply value. I love how the writers always exaggerate situations in a funny way. The puns are cheesy and hilarious. I love how the Waterson family have developed as characters, with the new season showing us more depth in the family relationships. 10 out of 10. Reminds me of cartoons in my younger age like Ed, Edd and Eddy, Johnny Bravo and Courage the cowardly dog, in terms of funny exaggerations and great story telling. I'm in love. See more Shay T @RT84056407 Aug 30 This show was so brillaint because it took probable situations, made them wacky, and tie in somthing subtully political and funny. This show is a freaky french clown throwing a pie of political corectness down a garbage disposal. That was a perfect example fo the old humor.
