Chris Joyce Movies and Munchies (YouTube) The theme of generational trauma is executed well, using layered character elements along with visceral and disturbing imagery to produce a pointed social commentary that unfortunately is still more than relevant today. Rated: 4.5/5 May 23, 2024 Full Review Alex Maidy JoBlo's Movie Network Deborah Ayorinde once again delivers a strong leading performance, balanced by Luke James, which makes Them: The Scare worth checking out, but it does not work, as a whole, as well as last season. Rated: 6/10 May 3, 2024 Full Review Aglaia Berlutti Hipertextual Them: The Scare, the second instalment of the anthology, is a brilliant piece of psychological body horror, much more interesting and better crafted than its predecessor. [Full Review in Spanish] Rated: A+ May 1, 2024 Full Review Brandon Avery Just My Opinion Reviews A magnificent yet horrid depiction of how trauma is passed down through generations. Rated: 7.5/10 Apr 29, 2024 Full Review Jorge Loser Espinof ... We can finally say that we have the first great horror series of the year. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 29, 2024 Full Review Joel Keller Decider Like the first season of Them, the horror in Them: The Scare is as much about institutional racism than it is about some sort of apparition or monster. Aishah S Season 2 is the best horror TV series I've seen in a long time, and much better than the first season. Narrative ties in so many themes and yet is very well executed, honestly a must watch for horror fans. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/25/24 Full Review Chloe T Wow this show is excellent. From the setting, the storyline, the heartbreak, the acting. Incredible. Please keep making more of this show. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/25/24 Full Review errick p Season two of “Them” delivers an incredible story that hooks you instantly. It’s a fascinating continuation from season one, diving deeper into the characters’ nightmarish journey. The plot twist? Absolutely mind-blowing. The storytelling is top-notch, blending tension and emotion seamlessly. The acting is captivating, each performance amplifying the chilling narrative. I can’t wait for season three; it’s sure to be another unforgettable ride. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/25/24 Full Review Christopher B I have always felt that because I am no longer a child no show or movie can scare me. The show did that! Several times I was uncomfortable. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/22/24 Full Review Maka T While the first season is not great, it is still very interesting. This season was amazing. The ghosts and twists are very good. The demon and detective storyline was a good one. The sound has some great effects thrown in. And it does redeem itself from the not well received first season. Ti West has proved himself as a great horror director. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/20/24 Full Review JM M Exaggerated situations. This type of shows only provokes more interracial division.
