Ashley Moulton Common Sense Media Wolf King is an ambitious, sweeping, epic tale, and it does not disappoint. Mar 26, 2025 Full Review Joel Keller Decider The Wolf King is a fantasy-adventure story that’s easy to like, mainly because the show’s story is quickly established by the end of the first episode, and there’s more than enough action to satisfy the young viewers the show is trying to attract. Mar 24, 2025 Full Review Pramit Chatterjee Digital Mafia Talkies What’s actually impressive about Wolf King is the animation. From the first frame to the last, you are bombarded with one highly detailed and intricately crafted location after another (...) Overall, in terms of visual storytelling, the show is top-notch. Mathilda 1 Yeah it was disappointed. The action was to slow, the protagonist was suck and no badass Characters. It's was bullshit Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/11/25 Full Review Makai D Absolutely stunning animation with Awsome fight scenes and creative story wolf king is a top tier show for all ages even with some annoying characters or some rushed episodes it plays out a pretty solid watch Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/10/25 Full Review Jam M Loved it! Don’t know what everyone else is saying , me and my kids really enjoyed it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/08/25 Full Review Cyndy M I’d thought this show would be a joke. Nevertheless it actually amazes me so much. The art medium are so appealing that it made me appreciate the show more. The character designs are great too. To be honest I love Gretchen, she such a diva. Slapping the future king are such a slayful acts! Hector are also my favourite, being a rookie while helping Drew is such one that I love the character trope that know their potential better than they know! On the other hand, the character development has an 5% lacking such. I did hope the werebear’s son and daughter would improve their character development. This show also made me curious whether the wereserpent/snake are gonna be relevant to season 2, to think that they had a great potential to be the guide. I’d love to learn their lore. I can’t actually wait for season 2! I really need to know the werewolf lore! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/04/25 Full Review ryan s This isn't getting the love it deserves. The voice acting could use a little work for some characters. But visually stunning. The story is captivating and relatively original, I think we're getting to a point in cinema/animation that original ideas are difficult to come by. A century of content is creating a rinse/ lather/ repeat issue, and though the "WERE" beast concept has been beaten to a pulp, I can't help but feel like there's a little DreamWorks flair here that I really like. The music is catchy and fitting for action sequences and still holds weight in relaxed scenarios. I almost felt for minute that things were being rushed to get the bullet points across early, but that tames itself by episode 2 and I really felt like I had a good understanding of what I needed to know by then, so I appreciated it. My only real gripe is kind of irrelevant due to its targeted demographic, the lead beast is not as intimidating as I was expecting. His features are little too smooth to really sell me that he's some prophesized King that's going to save the world, but in a way it's charming enough that I feel the citizens of this world would follow him. All in all 4.5 for me, would recommend..... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/04/25 Full Review Selene B It is an amazing show good plot! Good characters! Good animation! It is very interesting and entertaining it did not disappoint! The wolf king Has so much action It is a masterpiece Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/03/25 Full Review Read all reviews
