Writer and producer Alan Eisenstock is best known for his comedies. In 1976 he began writing for two popular sitcoms based in the Watts section of L.A., "Sanford and Son," starring Redd Foxx and Demond Wilson, and "What's Happening!!." He wrote and produced the short-lived series "Angie" in 1979 as well as the classic sci-fi-tinged sitcom "Mork & Mindy" starring a young Robin Williams. In the '90s, Eisenstock wrote and produced several episodes of the comedy series "Family Matters" and wrote for "Going Places," created by Howard Adler and Robert Griffard and starring Heather Locklear. He was the co-executive producer of "Step by Step" as well as writing an episode for the show. In 1997 Eisenstock wrote the TV movie "Angels in the Endzone" directed by Gary Nadeau.
