Amentha Dymally was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Dymally began her career with roles in "Sweet Jesus, Preacher Man" (1972), "Letters From Three Lovers" (ABC, 1973-74) and the drama "Coma" (1978) with Genevieve Bujold. She went on to act in "Son Rise: A Miracle of Love" (1978-79), "Ally McBeal" (Fox, 1997-2002) and "Any Day Now" (Lifetime, 1998-2002). She also appeared in "The District" (CBS, 2000-04). More recently, Dymally acted in the drama "Baby Boy" (2001) with Tyrese Gibson.
