Andy Favreau was an American actor born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 28, 1984. Favreau's brother was Jon Favreau, not to be confused with the director and actor of the same name. Jon was a speechwriter who worked for President Barack Obama during his time as a senator and the first term of his presidency, and hosted the "Pod Saves America" podcast. Andy made his film debut with an uncredited role in the romantic comedy "What's Your Number?" (2011), starring Anna Faris and Chris Evans. He then made his television debut as a speechwriter, like his brother Jon, on the short-lived sitcom "1600 Penn" (NBC, 2012-13) in a 2013 episode. Favreau landed episodic appearances on dramas like "NCIS" (CBS, 2003- ) in 2015, and played The Beach Boys' Dennis Wilson on the period crime drama film "Aquarius" (NBC, 2015-16) in 2016. Favreau landed a two-part role on "The Mick" (Fox, 2017- ) and "Animal Kingdom" (TNT, 2016- ) in 2017. In 2018, he joined the main cast of "Champions" (NBC, 2018- ) as Matthew, the brother of Anders Holm's Vince. The sitcom, created by Mindy Kaling and Charlie Grandy, follows gym owner Vince, who lives the bachelor life with his brother until a former fling drops off Vince's 15-year-old son.
