Anita Baker
A praised Grammy winner, Anita Baker was considered a leading talent in the music industry. Baker worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "1987 Power Hits New Year's Eve Countdown" "The 19th Annual NAACP Image Awards" (NBC, 1986-87) and "The 20th Annual NAACP Image Awards" (NBC, 1987-88). She also contributed to "The 29th Annual Grammy Awards" (CBS, 1986-87), "The American Music Awards" (ABC, 1986-87) and "Welcome Home" (HBO, 1986-87). In the eighties, Baker devoted her time to various credits, such as "The Songwriters Hall of Fame 20th Anniversary... The Magic of Music" (CBS, 1988-89), "Sammy Davis Jr.'s 60th Anniversary Celebration" (ABC, 1989-1990) and "Smokey Robinson" (Showtime, 1989-1990). She also worked on "The 32nd Annual Grammy Awards" (CBS, 1989-1990). Additionally, she could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Lyrically Speaking (09/29/94)" (1994-95), "Sinatra Duets" (CBS, 1994-95) and "Aretha Franklin: Going Home" (Disney, 1994-95). Most recently, Baker worked on "Celebration of Gospel" (BET, 2012-13). Baker won a Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female Grammy Award in 1986.
