      Archie Shepp worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Shepp began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the drama "Bless Their Little Hearts" (1984) with Nate Herd and the Genevieve Bujold dramatic comedy "Choose Me" (1984). In addition to his music, Shepp appeared in the documentary "Imagine the Sound" (1981) with Paul Bley. In the eighties and the early 2000s, Shepp devoted his time to various credits, such as "Survivors, the Blues Today" (1984) starring Gravenites-Cipollina Band, "Saxo" with Gerard Lanvin (1988) and "A Place For Jazz" (1992). He also worked on "Equinox" with Matthew Modine (1993), "A Foreign Body" (1997) and "24 Bars" (2007) starring Benoît Magimel. Most recently, Shepp worked on the Rachid Amrani drama "Roma Wa La N'Touma" (2008).
