Arj Barker

Arj Barker is an internationally touring stand-up comedian also known as Dave, the tough-talking pawn-shop proprietor in "Flight of the Conchords." Barker's early break came in 1997 with an appearance on Comedy Central's stand-up showcase, "Premium Blend." A spot on "Late Night With Conan O'Brian" followed, gaining Barker further national exposure. In 2004 he co-wrote and starred in the off-Broadway comedy show "The Marijuana-Logues" with fellow comedians Doug Benson and Tony Camin. Barker has also developed his own flash-animation sitcom spoof called "Arj and Poopy," online vignettes featuring himself and a pet cat who communicates through farting. He has released two albums of his stand-up routines.
