Ayub Khan-Din was a British actor who carved out quite a successful career for himself on the Hollywood big screen. Khan-Din began his career with roles in "My Beautiful Laundrette" (1986), the drama "Sammy and Rosie Get Laid" (1987) with Shashi Kapoor and "Agatha Christie's Poirot" (PBS, 1988-2013). Khan-Din also appeared in "Lebewohl, Fremde" (1991), "Idiot" (1992) and "The Burning Season" (1993). More recently, Khan-Din wrote the comedy "Rafta Rafta" (2012) with Reece Ritchie.
