Birdman

Birdman, born Bryan Christopher Williams on February 15, 1969, in New Orleans, Louisiana, was a notable figure in the American music industry. He co-founded Cash Money Records in 1991 with his brother Ronald "Slim" Williams. This record label played a significant role in popularizing Southern hip-hop during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Birdman managed and expanded the label, signing influential artists like Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj. His own music career was marked by several successful albums and collaborations. His album "Fast Money" in 2005, and his collaboration with Lil Wayne on the album "Like Father, Like Son" in 2006, were major successes. Birdman's work as a mentor of younger rappers, such as Lil Wayne and Jacquees would establish him as a major voice in Southern Hip Hop. Birdman's influence extended beyond music into business ventures, including a clothing line and an oil and gas exploration company.
