Robert Arden

Throughout his entertainment career as an accomplished actor, Robert Arden graced the silver screen many times. Arden started his acting career landing roles in films, such as "Mr. Arkadin" (1955) with Orson Welles, "A King in New York" (1957) and the crime drama "Spin a Dark Web" (1957) with Faith Domergue. He also appeared in the Gwen Watford dramatic adaptation "Never Take Sweets From a Stranger" (1960) and "Call Me Bwana" (1963). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Foreign Intrigue: Dateline Europe" (1951-53). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in the adventure "Condorman" (1981) with Michael Crawford, the horror film "The Final Conflict" (1981) with Sam Neill and the Mary Beth Hurt adventurous drama "D.A.R.Y.L." (1985). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Reunion at Fairborough" (HBO, 1984-85). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Arthur Hailey's "Strong Medicine"" (1985-86). During the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the Claude Brasseur adventure "Les Loups entre eux" (1985), the Rick Moranis comedic adaptation "Little Shop of Horrors" (1986) and the comedy "Whoops Apocalypse" (1988) with Loretta Swit. He also was featured in the TV movie "Murrow" (HBO, 1985-86). Arden more recently appeared in "A Dangerous Man: Lawrence After Arabia" (PBS, 1991-92).
