Boosie Badazz
Boosie Badazz, born Torrence Hatch on November 14, 1982, is a renowned American rapper, songwriter, and actor. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Boosie became known for his gritty lyrics and distinct Southern sound. He got his start as a teenager when he joined the group Concentration Camp and released his first album "Youngest of da Camp" (Camp Life Entertainment, 2000). He quickly followed it with "For My Thugz" (2002). However, it was his third album, "Bad Azz" (2006), that brought him mainstream success, marked by the hit single "Zoom." Boosie's career faced a setback in 2009 when he was incarcerated on drug and murder charges. He was eventually found not-guilty of murder. During his five-year prison sentence, he managed to release several albums, including "Incarcerated" (2010). Following his release from prison in 2014, he changed his stage name from Lil Boosie to Boosie Badazz. He continued his prolific songwriting with multiple albums including "BooPac" (2017), "Badazz 3.5" (2019), and "Lines for Valentines" (2023).
