Camille Grammer

Like many starlets, Camille Grammer found a kind of fame and fortune by marrying a Hollywood A-lister, but later parlayed that notoriety into becoming one of the most buzzed about stars on the hit reality series "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" (Bravo, 2010- ). She was born Camille Donatacci on Sept. 2, 1968 in Newport Beach, CA. Raised in New Jersey, Grammer studied English literature at that state's Montclair State University. She launched her career in 1988 as a Playboy model and as a dancer on "Club MTV" (MTV, 1985-1992), appearing in several music videos while she lived in New York City. In the mid-1990s, Grammer starred in R-rated films like "New York Nights" (1994) and "The Naked Detective" (1996), before landing a minor role as a bikini dancer in Howard Stern's biopic "Private Parts" (1997). In 1997, Grammer guest starred on the award-winning series "Frasier" (NBC, 1993-2004), about a popular radio psychiatrist (Kelsey Grammer) and his wacky family. At this time, she had already been dating the show's lead star since 1996. In August 1997, the couple wed in Malibu, CA. While they were married, Grammer was co-owner with her husband of the television production company Grammnet Productions. She spent majority of her time, however, raising their two children, who were both born via a surrogate mother after she was diagnosed with severe irritable bowel syndrome.
