Christian Keyes

Born in Detroit in 1975, Christian Keyes was raised in Flint, Michigan, and music was his first love. He combined the two in his first substantial on screen role in a filmed version of Tyler Perry's musical comedy stage play "Madea Goes to Jail" (2006). From there, Keyes went on to play supporting roles in a number of film and TV projects, including "Brothers & Sisters" (ABC, 2006-2011) and "Moonlight" (CBS, 2007-08). In 2011, Keyes made his first appearance as Troy on the romantic comedy series "Let's Stay Together" (BET, 2011-14), a role he would reprise more than a dozen times over the course of the series' four seasons. His first series-leading role came in 2016, when he landed a lead role on the church-centered drama "Saints & Sinners" (Bounce TV, 2016-). Keyes earned a broader audience when he was cast in a recurring role during the twelfth season of the popular series "Supernatural" (WB/CW, 2005-).
