Ethel Clayton
This stock actress entered the movies in 1909, appearing in such films as "Risky Business," "Sunny Side Up," "The Princess on Broadway," "Mother Machree," "The Buccaneer" and "Cocoanut Grove." She wed director Joseph Kaufman in 1915, but he died of influenza that same year. Her marriage to actor Ian Keith lasted five years. Clayton retired during the early talkie era.
