An American film and television writer and producer, Glen Morgan is best known for his involvement in "The X-Files" TV show and the "Final Destination" movie franchise. Morgan started out his show-business career by penning the script for the 1985 feature film "The Boys Next Door," along with his frequent writing partner, James Wong. Later, Morgan worked on numerous episodes of the cop shows "21 Jump Street" and "The Commish," and he became a producer on the latter series. In '95, Morgan and Wong unveiled their sci-fi series, "Space: Above and Beyond," but it was quickly cancelled, and the duo moved on to the popular paranormal show "The X-Files," contributing as both writers and producers from '93-'97. Morgan and Wong also worked on another Chris Carter-created series, "Millennium," and went on to create the horror movie "Final Destination," which Wong directed. The success of the film led to numerous sequels, though Morgan was only directly involved in "Final Destination 3." Morgan also collaborated with Wong on the sci-fi/action movie "The One," and he ventured out on his own with the creepy drama "Willard" and a remake of the slasher film "Black Christmas," both productions that he directed. Morgan is the brother of another renowned genre writer and producer, Darin Morgan.
