Guy Middleton
Guy Middleton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Middleton's earliest roles were in film, including "Goodbye, Mr. Chips" (1939) with Robert Donat, the Laurence Olivier drama "The Demi-Paradise" (1943) and "Fire Over Africa" (1954) with Maureen O'Hara. He also appeared in "The Belles of St. Trinian's" (1954). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Gentlemen Marry Brunettes" (1955) with Jane Russellthe adaptation "The Sea Shall Not Have Them" (1955) with Michael Redgrave and the Dirk Bogarde adaptation sequel "Doctor at Large" (1957). Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in "Let's Be Happy" (1957), "Waltz of the Toreadors" (1962) with Peter Sellers and the comedy adaptation "Oh! What A Lovely War" (1969) with Ralph Richardson. He also appeared in the Peter Sellers comedy "The Magic Christian" (1970). Middleton was most recently credited in "The Human Bomb" (The Movie Channel, 1997-98). Middleton passed away in June 1973 at the age of 66.
