Hadi Tabbal

Hadi Tabbal was a Lebanese actor and theater director who broke out in 2017 when he joined the cast of the NBC drama "The Brave" (NBC, 2017- ). Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Tabbal always had a thriving creative imagination. He nurtured that innate creative side by appearing in plays in his native Beirut, which earned him widespread acclaim in his native country. Tabbal eventually earned a Fulbright scholarship for his work, which allowed him to study acting at the New School for Drama in New York, where he would go on to earn his MFA in acting. After graduating from the school, Tabbal immersed himself in the New York theater world, and in 2013 drew widespread praise for directing the play "After," which told the story of an Arab-American family living in New York City. Throughout that time, Tabbal was going on auditions for film and TV roles in New York City. He soon began nabbing guest spots on shows like "Person of Interest" (CBS, 2011-16) and "House of Cards" (Netflix, 2013- ). Tabbal mostly landed TV roles, which would come sporadically, but steadily throughout the 2010s. In addition to his parts on "House of Cards" and "Person of Interest" he also landed guest spots on the high-profile network shows "The Blacklist" (NBC, 2013- ), "Elementary" (CBS, 2012- ), and "Madam Secretary" (CBS, 2014- ). The in 2017 Tabbal joined the cast of the new NBC drama "The Brave." He played Amir on the series, which premiered on the network in September of 2017.
