Jack Yellen built up his entertainment career by putting his musical skills to use in the world of Hollywood. Yellen began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the drama "Honky Tonk" (1929) with Sophie Tucker, "Bulldog Drummond" (1929) and "They Learned About Women" (1930). His music also appeared in "Chasing Rainbows" (1930), the musical "George White's Scandals" (1934) with Rudy Vallee and the Alice Faye musical "George White's 1935 Scandals" (1935). Yellen's music was also featured in the dramatic adventure "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken" (1991) with Gabrielle Anwar, "Stepping Out" (1991) with Liza Minnelli and the comedy "The Distinguished Gentleman" (1992) with Eddie Murphy. His music was also featured in "Primary Colors" (1998) with John Travolta. Yellen's music was most recently used in the dramatic adaptation "Quartet" (2012) with Maggie Smith. Yellen passed away in April 1991 at the age of 99.
