James N. Harrell
James Harrell was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Harrell kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "A Bullet For Pretty Boy" (1970), the Peter Fonda action flick "Race With the Devil" (1975) and the dramatic adventure "The Great Waldo Pepper" (1975) with Robert Redford. He also appeared in the Peter Fonda action movie "Outlaw Blues" (1977), "Rolling Thunder" (1977) and "The Whole Shootin' Match" (1979). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in the drama "Raggedy Man" (1981) with Sissy Spacek, the drama "Country" (1984) with Jessica Lange and the Dennis Hopper comedy sequel "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2" (1986). He also appeared in the comedy "Nadine" (1987) with Jeff Bridges. More recently, he continued to act in the Kevin Costner dramatic adaptation "J.F.K." (1991), the Steve Martin comedic drama "Leap of Faith" (1992) and "Flesh and Bone" (1993) with Dennis Quaid. He also appeared in "A Family Thing" (1996) with Robert Duvall and the John Travolta fantastical comedy "Michael" (1996). Harrell's music was most recently used in the dramatic adaptation "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl" (2015) with Thomas Mann.
