Jenny Runacre
Jenny Runacre rose to fame as an actress, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of her Hollywood career. Runacre began her acting career with roles in such films as "Husbands" (1970), "Dyn Amo" (1972) and the adaptation "I Racconti di Canterbury" (1972) with Hugh Griffith. She also appeared in "The Last Days of Man on Earth" (1973) and "The Mackintosh Man" (1973). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the seventies, appearing in "The Passenger" (1975) with Jack Nicholson, the dramatic period piece "The Duellists" (1978) with Keith Carradine and "Jubilee" (1979). She also appeared in "The Lady Vanishes" (1979) with Elliott Gould. Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Spectre" (NBC, 1976-77). Toward the end of her career, she tackled roles in "Hussy" (1980), the Divine documentary "The Alternative Miss World" (1980) and the comedy "Shadey" (1987) with Antony Sher. She also appeared in the Anjelica Huston adaptation "The Witches" (1990). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Brideshead Revisited" (PBS, 1981-82). Runacre most recently acted in the Keira Knightley dramatic adaptation "The Edge of Love" (2009).
