      Joanne Linville was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Linville kickstarted her acting career appearing on various dramas, including "The Fugitive" (ABC, 1963-67). She also appeared in the TV movie "The House on Greenapple Road" (ABC, 1969-1970). During the early stages of her acting career, Linville worked in films like the Kim Stanley drama "The Goddess" (1958). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the seventies, appearing on "Charlie's Angels" (ABC, 1976-1981) and "CHiPs" (NBC, 1977-1983). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Secrets" (ABC, 1976-77). Following that project, she worked on "Scorpio" (1973), the musical drama "A Star Is Born" (1976) with Barbra Streisand and "Gable and Lombard" (1976) with James Brolin. She also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Charlie's Angels" (ABC, 1976-1981) and "CHiPs" (NBC, 1977-1983). She also appeared in "The Seduction" (1981). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Behind the Screen" (CBS, 1981-82). She also had parts in the miniseries "The Critical List" (1978-79) and "From the Dead of Night" (1988-89). Linville most recently appeared in "James Dean" (TNT, 2000-01). Linville's husband was Mark Rydell. Joanne Linville died on June 20, 2021 in Los Angeles, CA at the age of 93.
