Joe McGuinn was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. McGuinn found his beginnings in film with roles in the western "Back in the Saddle" (1941) with Gene Autry, the adventure "Jungle Girl" (1941) with Frances Gifford and "Holt of the Secret Service" (1942). McGuinn next focused his career on film, appearing in the crime picture "The Glass Key" (1942) with Brian Donlevy, the Ray Milland drama "Three Brave Men" (1956) and the crime flick "Chicago Confidential" (1957) with Brian Keith. He also appeared in "Showdown at Boot Hill" (1958), the Gary Cooper dramatic adaptation "Ten North Frederick" (1958) and the Rita Hayworth drama "The Story on Page One" (1960). Later in his career, McGuinn acted in the remake "The Gambler Wore a Gun" (1961) with Jim Davis. McGuinn passed away in September 1971 at the age of 67.
