John Maynard

Actor John Maynard was most recognized for his roles in television. Maynard's career began with roles in "In the Heat of the Night" (1987-1994), "SeaQuest 2032" (NBC, 1995-96) and "The Pretender" (1996-2000). He also appeared in "Timecop" (ABC, 1997-98). He also appeared in the TV movie "Bloodmoon" (HBO, 1996-97). In the early stages of his Hollywood career, Maynard held acting roles in films like "Dark Universe" (1993). Following that project, he appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Woman Chaser" (2000) with Patrick Warburton, the Jason Mewes comedy "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" (2001) and the adventure "Joy Ride" (2001) with Steve Zahn. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Angel" (WB, 1999-2004). He also appeared in the John C Reilly comedy "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" (2007). Most recently, Maynard acted on "Shake It Up!" (Disney, 2010-13).
