Jovan Acin
Acin worked in Algeria and France after leaving Yugoslavia following a clash with the authorities over his controversial first feature, "The Concrete Rose" (1975). In 1986, he won international praise for the bittersweet reminiscence of post-war Yugoslavia, "Hey Babu Riba."
