Leem Lubany
Leem Lubany was born on Aug. 31, 1997 in Nazareth, Isreal. A teenager without a trace of acting experience to her name, Lubany nevertheless landed a starring role in the Palestinian drama film "Omar" (2013), which went on to win the Special Jury Prize at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, not to mention a nomination for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards. Next, Lubany appeared in the Emirati film "From A to B" (2015), playing a supporting part in the story of three friends' road trip from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to Beirut, Lebanon. Next, she made her Hollywood debut with a sizable supporting role in the comedy film "Rock the Kasbah" (2015), also starring Bill Murray, Kate Hudson, Bruce Willis, and Zooey Deschanel. Her biggest role yet, however, came in the form of the thriller TV series "Condor" (Audience 2018-), involving a CIA analyst's investigation of a high-stakes cover-up. Around the same time, Lubany landed a role in the biography drama film "Saint Judy" (2018), in which Michelle Monaghan was cast to star as iconic civil rights attorney Judy Wood.
