Luis Rego

Luis Rego was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Rego started his acting career landing roles in such films as the Henri Tisot comedy "Le Fuhrer En Folie" (1973), "Vous n'aurez pas l'Alsace et la Lorraine" (1977) and "Sun Tan" (1978). He also appeared in the comedy "Les Hommes preferent les grosses" (1981) with Josiane Balasko and "Debout les Crabes la Mer Monte!" (1983). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in "Tranches de Vie" (1984) with Laura Antonelli, "Paulette" (1985) and "Maine-Ocean" (1986). He also appeared in "Poule et frites" (1987). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Gregoire Colin drama "Superlove" (1999), "La Chambre obscure" (2000) with Caroline Ducey and the dramatic adaptation "Get A Life" (2001) with Rita Blanco. He also appeared in the comedy "Fifi Martingale" (2001) with Jean Lefebure and "San Antonio" (2004) with Gerard Lanvin. Most recently, Rego acted in the drama "Lapidation of Saint Etienne" (2013) with Lou Castel.
