Lois Red Elk
Lois Red Elk was an accomplished actress who appeared in a variety of films throughout her Hollywood career. Elk began her career with roles in the Chris Mitchum horror flick "Bigfoot" (1970), "The Macahans" (ABC, 1975-76) and the Brian Keith drama "Joe Panther" (1976). She then acted in the drama "Three Warriors" (1977) with McKee "Kiko" Redwing, "Ishi: The Last of His Tribe" (NBC, 1978-79) and "Alcatraz: The Whole Shocking Story" (1980-81). She also appeared in "Lakota Woman: Seige at Wounded Knee" (1994-95), "Outside Ozona" (1998) with Robert Forster and the Eric Schweig dramatic adaptation "Skins" (2002). More recently, Elk acted in "Christmas in the Clouds" (2005).
