Lorna Luft

Multi-talented performer Lorna Luft was born into a famous and successful family. She is the daughter of legendary actress Judy Garland and producer Sidney Luft, as well as the half-sister of Liza Minnelli. She made her first TV performance at the young age of 11, when she sang "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" on the Christmas special of her mother's program, "The Judy Garland Show." When she was 14, she performed in a month-long summer touring show with her famous family, one night of which was recorded and released as a record. Her first television acting role came in 1973 when she appeared in a segment on the anthology comedy series "Love, American Style." Her first film role came in 1982 when she received top billing in the musical-sequel "Grease 2," playing Pink Ladies gang-member Paulette Rebchuck, probably her best-known film performance. She next appeared on the big screen in "Where the Boys are '84," a remake of the 1960 comedy, and landed her first recurring television role in the medical drama "Trapper John, M.D.," playing Nurse Libby Kegler in 19 episodes from 1985 to 1986. She has since appeared on programs like the mystery series "Murder, She Wrote" and "Style Court," as well as the films "My Giant" and "54," all the while managing a successful stage and singing career. She also wrote her autobiography, which was turned into an Emmy-winning television mini-series in 2001 entitled "Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows."
