Marcel Marceau
Marcel Marceau, a French-born actor, found success in the Hollywood movie scene, starring in a variety of films throughout his career. Known for making audiences laugh, Marceau began his acting career in comedies like "Barbarella" (1968) starring Jane Fonda, "Shanks" (1974) with Marcel Marceau and "Silent Movie" (1976). He had a part on the television special "Funny Faces" (1982-83). During these years, he also worked in film, earning a part in the Alejandro Jodorowsky foreign "The Jodorowsky Constellation" (1994). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson: 23rd Anniversary" (1985-86) and "The Montreal International Comedy Festival" (1987-88). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "AFI's 100 Years... 100 Laughs" (1999-2000). He also appeared as herself in "Joseph's Gift." Marceau also acted in "Paganini." Marcel Marceau passed away in September 2007 at the age of 84.
