Martine Bartlett

Martine Bartlett was an accomplished actress who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Bartlett's early roles were in dramas like the Natalie Wood film "Splendor in the Grass" (1961) and "The Prize" (1963) with Paul Newman and Edward G Robinson. Bartlett was nominated for an Outstanding Performance In a Supporting Role By an Primetime Emmy Award for "Arrest and Trial" in 1964. She continued to act in productions like the comedy adaptation "Lord Love a Duck" (1966) with Roddy McDowall, the dramatic comedy "No Way to Treat a Lady" (1968) with Rod Steiger and the action film "Kansas City Bomber" (1972) with Raquel Welch. She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Sandburg's Lincoln" (NBC, 1973-76). During the latter half of her career, she continued to act in the Paul Le Mat dramatic adventure "Aloha, Bobby And Rose" (1975) and the Bibi Andersson drama "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden" (1977). She also had parts in the miniseries "Attack on Terror" (1974-75) and "Sybil" (1976-77). Bartlett more recently appeared in "Sizzle" (ABC, 1981-82).
