Mary Black

Mary Black was an accomplished actress who appeared in a variety of films throughout her Hollywood career. Black worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "Millennium" (Fox, 1996-99). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Irish Music in America ... A Musical Migration" (1993-94), "D-Day Remembered -- A Musical Tribute From the QE2" (PBS, 1993-94) and "Gael Force: An Irish Music Event" (PBS, 1997-98). Black also contributed music to the Craig Wasson drama "The Outsider" (1979). In the early 2000s, Black devoted her time to various credits, such as "Angel Eyes" with Jennifer Lopez (2001), "Gangs of New York" (2002) starring Leonardo DiCaprio and the Will Ferrell and James Caan blockbuster "Elf" (2003). She also worked on "Hope Springs" (2004) starring Colin Firth. In her more recent career, she tackled roles in the Tom Welling suspenseful adaptation "The Fog" (2005), the Michael Rooker horror feature "Slither" (2006) and the horror film "Fido" (2007) with Henry Czerny. She also appeared in the Michelle Pfeiffer drama "Personal Effects" (2009). She held additional roles in television including a part on "Supernatural" (2005-). Most recently, Black acted on "iZombie" (CW, 2014-).
