Matthew Senreich
Writer-producer Matthew Senreich was a guiding force behind the anarchic antics on "Robot Chicken" (Adult Swim 2005- ), a stop-motion animated series that skewed science fiction's sacred cows, including "Star Wars" (1977) and Marvel Comics, with exceptional glee. He began in the comic book publishing business, working his way up from intern to editorial director in just a few short years, before teaming with actor Seth Green for a series of stop-motion short films that formed the basis for "Robot Chicken." The project was promoted to a weekly series in 2005, and earned Green and Senreich multiple Emmy nominations for its humor, which found the all-too-human foibles in some of pop culture's best-loved heroes. The critical and audience acclaim heaped upon "Robot Chicken" underscored Senreich's status as one of television's more creative minds.
