Michael Dante

Michael Dante rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Dante landed roles in various films, including the biopic "Jeanne Eagels" (1957) with Kim Novak, the Randolph Scott action flick "Westbound" (1959) and the Edward G Robinson crime thriller "Seven Thieves" (1960). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Kid Galahad" (1962) with Elvis Presley, the action film "Operation Bikini" (1963) with Tab Hunter and "Apache Rifles" (1964). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "The Naked Kiss" (1964), "Arizona Raiders" (1965) and the biographical drama "Harlow" (1965) with Carol Lynley. He also appeared in "Willard" (1971) and the Harvey Keitel drama "That's the Way of the World" (1975). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Star Trek" (NBC, 1966-69). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Leif Erickson western "Winterhawk" (1975), "The Farmer" (1976) and the horror flick "Beyond Evil" (1980) with John Saxon. He also appeared in the Fred "The Hammer" Williamson action picture "The Big Score" (1983), "The Messenger" (1987) with Fred "The Hammer" Williamson and "Cage" (1989). Dante more recently acted in "Return to the River Kwai" (1989) with Nick Tate.
