Monica Lewis found incredible success as an accomplished actress, appearing in a variety of films throughout her Hollywood career. Lewis began her acting career with roles in such films as "Excuse My Dust" (1951), "Inside Straight" (1951) with David Bryan and the Marge Champion musical "Everything I Have Is Yours" (1952). She also appeared in the Jean Simmons drama "Affair With a Stranger" (1953) and the drama "The D.I." (1957) with Jack Webb. Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like the action picture "Charley Varrick" (1973) with Walter Matthau, the adventure "Earthquake" (1974) with Charlton Heston and "Airport 77" (1977). She also appeared in "Rollercoaster" (1977) with George Segal. Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Mirror, Mirror" (NBC, 1979-1980). Nearing the end of her career, she continued to act in the Alain Delon sequel "The Concorde - Airport '79" (1979), "Boxoffice" (1982) and the comedy sequel "The Sting II" (1982) with Jackie Gleason. She also appeared in the Burt Reynolds action movie "Stick" (1985). Lewis last acted in the action film "Dead Heat" (1988) with Treat Williams. Lewis passed away in June 2015 at the age of 93.
