Nathan Corddry
Nathan "Nate" Corddry was the younger brother of comedian and actor Rob Corddry, longtime correspondent on "The Daily Show" (Comedy Central 1996- ). After graduating from Colby-Sawyer College with a degree in communications in 2000, Corddry spent four summers with the Williamstown Theatre Festival and later appeared in a touring Broadway production of "The Graduate" (1967) with Morgan Fairchild as Mrs. Robinson. A number of commercials and bit parts would follow, including an appearance on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" (NBC 1993-2009) in 2002. However, it would be on his brother's very show where Corddry would receive his first big break, appearing in various segments with Rob beginning in 2005. The repeating gig would eventually lead to bigger things, including a supporting role on the much-hyped but ultimately axed Aaron Sorkin TV series "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" (NBC 2006-07). From there, Corddry would dip back into his dramatic roots with a 10-episode stint on the comedy-drama "United States of Tara" (Showtime 2009-2011), followed by two films, the romantic comedy "The Ugly Truth" (2009) and "The Invention of Lying" (2009). He also appeared in the live-action film version of "Yogi Bear" (2010) and the war drama TV mini-series "The Pacific" (2010) before taking a starring role opposite Kathy Bates in the legal comedy-drama "Harry's Law" (NBC 2011-12). After appearing in the hit action comedy "The Heat" (2013), Corddry co-starred in the Chuck Lorre-produced sitcom "Mom" (CBS 2013- ) as Gabriel, the married ex-boyfriend and co-worker of lead character Christy (Anna Faris).
