Nick Dimitri was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Dimitri kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the comedy "Island of Love" (1963) with Robert Preston, the Charles Bronson action picture "Hard Times" (1975) and the Connie Stevens action movie "Scorchy" (1976). He also appeared in the Gene Wilder comedy "The World's Greatest Lover" (1977) and the Ryan O'Neal action flick "The Driver" (1978). He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in the comedy "My Favorite Year" (1982) with Peter O'Toole, the action film "Sudden Impact" (1983) with Clint Eastwood and "City Heat" (1984). During the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in the Tom Hanks comedic adventure "Turner & Hooch" (1989), the thriller "Kill Me Again" (1989) with Val Kilmer and "Toy Soldiers" (1991) with Sean Astin. Dimitri more recently appeared in "Back to Back: American Yakuza II" (HBO, 1996-97).
