Paul Mooney worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. He also appeared in the Damon Wayans dramedy "Bamboozled" (2000). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "The Old Settler" (PBS, 2000-01) and "Well, Shut Ma' Mouth! The Powerful History of Black Humor" (2001-02). Mooney most recently appeared in "Paul Mooney: The Godfather of Comedy" (Showtime, 2011-12). Paul Mooney died on May 19, 2021 in Oakland, CA at the age of 79.
