Paul West
In addition to shooting hoops, Paul West also shot for the stars by extending his entertainment career into the entertainment business. He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for "Father Knows Best" in 1954. He succeeded this honor with scripts for "My Three Sons" (CBS, 1960-1972) and "The Waltons" (CBS, 1972-1981). West was most recently credited in "I'm Reed Fish" (2007) with Alexis Bledel. In the nineties, West lent his talents to projects like "The Wish That Changed Christmas" (CBS, 1991-92), "Ferngully: the Last Rainforest" with Samantha Mathis (1992) and "All Dogs Go to Heaven 2" (1996). His credits also expanded to "Space Jam" with Michael Jordan (1996). West passed away in June 1998 at the age of 87.
